Yoga Alliance Leadership Conference:Transformation Through Yoga October 25-28, 2012 in Indian Wells, CA

	Vote for the videos you like best! Submissions have concluded for the video contest and YA staff have selected the finalists. Please watch the videos below and vote for the ones you like (by clicking the thumbs up icon in YouTube) to help us determine the winner. The winner will be selected based on creativity, inspiration and demonstration of the conference theme, “Transformation through Yoga.” The number of “likes” received on YouTube will also factor into our decision. We’ll announce the winner next Friday, September 14th. The winner will receive complimentary registration to the Leadership Conference, plus travel expenses to Indian Wells, CA, and a three-night stay at the Renaissance Esmeralda*! How to Enter

• Contest CLOSED, submission deadline was September 2, 2012.
• Create a short video (under 3 minutes) sharing your story or perspective on “Transformation through Yoga.”
• Upload your video to YouTube. The video title should contain your name and “Transformation through Yoga.”
• Submit your video link to events@yogaalliance.org with the subject line “Transformation through Yoga Video Contest.”
• Share your video and your incredible story with your community, as we will take into account the number of Youtube video “likes” when making our selection.

Video Guidelines

• Original content, not copied in whole or part from another work. Do not submit a video that has been used elsewhere.
• Contain no profanity, hate speech or other offensive material.
• Avoid violating copyright laws or using brand names other than Yoga Alliance in your video.

Deadline for Submissions

The deadline to submit a video is September 2, 2012. The video contest winner will be announced on September 14, 2012.

Selection Criteria

Staff will select the top videos based on inspiration, creativity, along with demonstration of the conference theme “Transformation through Yoga.” Once the top videos are selected by staff, we will ask our community of RYTs to watch and vote for their favorite video. We will choose the final winner in part based on the number of “likes” the video receives on YouTube.

Prize

The selected video entrant will receive a free conference registration to the 2012 Leadership Conference, which includes access to all sessions, practices, and five healthy meals. The winner will also receive a free three-night stay at the Renaissance Esmeralda (arriving Thursday, October 25 and departing Sunday, October 28), and travel expenses to Indian Wells, CA*.

*Up to $750 will be reimbursed for travel expenses
